Emilio Polverini

He is an ambitious boy. When ever there is a test in school there would be nothing else keeping him busy than that. Thats the way his parents educated him. Maths can be very hard indeed, and that he has spent his first 5 years in Italy, where his parents come from, doesn´t make it easier to struggle along with the French language.

Emilio lives in Paris. He likes the city for his multiculturality especially as there are millions of tourists showing up every year.

Emilio has a strict time table. After school he usually has lunch at the traditional Italian restaurant his parents are running. Pizza, Pasta, Salad, he loves everything. But no time to slack off, heaps of homework is waiting. Not forgetting his weekly piano lessons on monday, dancing on tuesday, acting in the Mini-theater group wednesdays and playing soccer every thursday and saturday at the Paris SG juniors.

But he does excellent. He manages to be well educated with an enormously good final exam, beeing able to begin his law studies at the age of 16. Expectedly he doesn´t fail at any of his study years, finishing them with fantastic marks which gives him the oppotunity to start working in Paris best lawyer´s office, the „Carbinet d´avocat d´egalité“.

At the Age of 25 he meets his future wife Céline, a very attractive french lady with give birth to his two lovely kids, half French, half Italian. Until the global financial crisis in 2008 the family Polverini is having a wonderful life. Céline does childcare and housekeeping, Emilio is going to work to financially care for his family.

But since the financial crisis he is forced to take a second job, where he needed to rush every tuesday to friday night after spending the whole day in the law office. He was lucky the Metro runs every 2 minutes in Paris, the city of hurry.

The shortest way to from office to the Metro tracks trough the park close to the Jeu De Paume museum. When Emilio takes the first step out of his office he noticed, that although it is mid march the sun is already suddenly shining very bright. As this five minute walk to the Metro is the only time possibly beeing in the sun and he realized how brilliant it is to be outside, he decided to take one train later to work, and have a little sit down at one of these public chairs standing in the park. During his rest he got clear about this beeing the first time in life not going to work and instead doing something fun. He enjoys himself in the most rompy way and after he lets go one Metro after the other he eventually thinks:

„Fuck that, I gonna take that day off and finally chill.“
